HO
CHI MINH City Tour
Formerly
known as Saigon…. Still called Saigon by most. Once referred
to as the Paris of the Orient, now you can still marvel at
the French architectural influence. This is where economic
reforms are most evident. Visit to the Reunification Hall,
Thien Hau temple, Historical Museum, Giac Lam pagoda and Lam
Son lacquer ware factory. Don’t miss the Central market, Chinatown,
War Crimes Museum, and Vinh Nghiem pagoda.

CU
CHI Tunnel
The
Cu Chi tunnels consist of a vast network of more than 150
miles of underground tunnels near Tay Ninh, 30 miles northwest
of Saigon. These tunnels were constructed and used by the
Viet cong to conduct operations, sometimes within the perimeters
of US military bases, and hide from the enemy. This is where
they lived, slept and ate. There were even street signs under
the earth to help guide the guerrillas and newcomers.

CAO
DAI Temple
65
miles from Saigon, Tay Ninh is the home of the magnificent,
if not bizarre, religious sect called Cao Dai. The Cao Dai
Holy temple, with its European influence in Oriental architecture,
is one of the most intriguing temples in all of Southeast
Asia, if not the world.
